Dalton State's Riescher Named SSAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player Of The Week

 Justin Riescher of Dalton State (Ga.) was named SSAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Nic Fischer of Faulkner (Ala.) was named SSAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
The awards are based on performance for the week of Oct. 4-10.
 
Nic Fischer (Faulkner – JR – GK – Hamburg, Germany)
·      Fischer starred in a 2-0 conference week for Faulkner, delivering two shutout victories and 12 saves
·      He delivered five saves v. Talladega, while also helping to setup the game-winner with a long punt. In a 1-0 OT win v. BMC, he collected seven saves, including a pair down the stretch with the Eagles playing a man down
 
Justin Riescher (Dalton State – SR – FWD – Coral Springs, Fla.)
·      Riescher tallied four goals across two games in a 2-0 conference week for the Roadrunners
·      The week was highlighted by a hat trick in a 5-0 win v. the Toppers
