Remote Area Medical Will Host A Free Clinic At Camp Jordan Saturday And Sunday

Remote Area Medical will host a clinic at Camp Jordan Arena on Saturday from 6 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m.- 1 p.m. 

The clinic's mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free, quality care to those in need.

Free dental services will include filling of cavities, pulling decayed teeth and teeth cleaning.

Free vision services will include comprehensive eye exams and prescription eyeglasses made on site which patients walk away with.

Free medical services will include medical evaluations and screenings and referrals for diabetes, high blood pressure and other medical conditions. There will be mammograms and pap smears offered for women. 

There will also be on site counseling, post clinic referrals and health education/literature to improve health. 

The clinic is open to the public and is first come, first served.  Numbers will be given out at 2 a.m. to waiting patients. No identification is required and there are no fees or eligibility requirements. There are no questions asked about income or medical insurance.
