Candis Patton
Candis Sonja Patton, 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at her home.
She was a member of Westmore Church of God. Candis loved going to church and singing. She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. Candis could always brighten your day as she loved to laugh and be with people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Reverend T. Paul Patton and Candis Odelle Goins Patton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include her loving and caring sister, Paula Patton, of Cleveland; aunt, Susie Patton of Nokomis, FL; very special cousins, Carol Lackey and her husband, Herbert of McDonald, David King of Chattanooga and Russell T. King, Jr., of Ooltewah; and numerous other cousins across several states, especially Keaton Lackey who she was always delightful to see.
Over the five and half years, Candis was blessed to be cared for by a special group of people from Life Bridges who made her life full of love and happiness.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6, in the chapel at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Kelvin Page and Pastor Wendell Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
Her family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
