Harry McCool Hays, 70, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at his home.

A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a dear friend to many.

He was predeceased by his father, Mark, Jr.; and mother, Betty.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Scottie; sons, Alex (Jonelle) and Ethan; grandchildren, Griffin (Katie), Percy and Adina; two brothers, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, he requested that memorials be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
