Jackie Edwards
Jackie Edwards, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday, December 3, 2021 at his residence.
Jackie was born July 13, 1951 in Dalton, the son of the late Julian and Clara Buckner Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his son, Lesley Edwards; brother, Julian Edwards; and sisters, Frances Dailey and Virginia Terrazas.
Jackie is survived by his son, Shawn Edwards; grandchildren, Noah Edwards and Destiney Bowling; sister, Carol Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.
Service to celebrate the life of Jackie Edwards will be held Sunday, Dec. 12, from Ponders Melrose Chapel at 2 p.m. with Pastor Johnny West officiating. Burial will take place at United Memorial Gardens following the service.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Dec. 12, from 12 p.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
