Humberto Rodriguez, Sr., 88, of Cleveland, passed away at his home Friday, April 2, 2021.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Gulf War. He originally enlisted in the Marine Corps., where he served four years. He then reenlisted in the Army, where he honorably served 33 years until his retirement. Humberto was very proud to have follow in his footsteps, two sons serve in the Marine Corp.; one son serve in the army; three grandsons serve in the Marine Corps.; and one grandson currently serving in the Army Tennessee National Guard. Two sons served in the marines and one in the army.
Survivors include sons, Cano Rodriguez, of Chicago, Humberto Rodriguez, Jr. “Zoary,” of Cleveland and Berto Rodriguez; daughter, Nilda Rodriguez, of Chicago; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A service will be Wednesday, April 7 at 12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with full Military Honors.
