Baylor Athletes Shine At Front Runner Track Championships

Evie Culbreath continued her dominance with four gold medal performances--winning the long jump,100m, 200m, and 100mhurdles.
 
Jada Cooper won the 400m--and was 3rd in the 100m & 5th in the 200m. Earning top-three medals for the girls were also Janie Pippenger 800m (2nd), Julia Kaufman pole vault (2nd), Laney Fowler 800m (3rd), Emily Barker 100hurdles (3rd), & Baker Young 300hurdles (3rd).
 
Winning relays were 4x100m (Kaufman, Aliya Cooper, Franny Brooksbank, Barker) and 4x200m (Hannah Lane Ford, A Cooper, Barker, Young). Runner-up relays were 4x800 (Emrick Garrett, Helen Webb, Pippenger, MaeMae Powe) & 4x400 (Maelynn Adams-Cook, SK Oliver, Young, Webb).
 
The boys were led by a huge effort from Garrison Corley, who won the 1600m. Other outstanding perfromances were from Luke Hill (2nd long jump & 4th 100m), Harrison Williams (3rd 100hurdles), Xian Campbell (4th 1600m & 5th 800m), and a 4th place relay finish in the 4x800m (Burke Murphy, Bowen Allan, Alex Corley, Jack Gartman). 
 
No team scores were kept.

Next up for the Red Raiders is the Region Championships on May 11 & 13.
