Signal Mountain Lacrosse Wins In Double OT

This weekend the Signal Mountain boy’s lacrosse team won a comeback victory in double overtime against Page High School. After falling behind 3-0 early in the first quarter, the Eagles fought back to win by a 6-5 score.

Sullivan Clarke led the way with four goals, while Jack Tuite and Caldwell Payne had one each. Payne scored the winning goal. Teo Iacoponi had an assist.

Andrew Eichner went 14 of 15 on faceoffs and Andrew Hedevic had 12 saves in 17 shots on goal.

Signal Mountain will next host the Metro Lacrosse Club in the state semifinals.
