Sherry Marie Davenport, 45, of Cleveland, passed away on July 27, 2021. She was born on March 29, 1976. She was a loving mother, wife and mamaw to her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Ed Marchant.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Ronald Dean Davenport Jr.; parents, Charles Aris Byers and Robin Sherry Marchant; son, Matthew Blake Gurley; daughters, Katelyn Olivia Gurley and Jessica Faith Gurley; stepchildren, Sebastian Lee Davenport, William Austin Davenport and Susan Renee Souza; brother, Charles Damien Byers; sisters, Christy Lynn Marchant-Mize and Amy Suzanne Crowe; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Faith Smith, Phoenix Lee Bishop, Riley David Gurley, Trinity Lowe, Lilly Davenport, Caroline Davenport, Angel Souza and two on the way.

Her family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday July 31 at New Beginnings Church. A celebration of Sherry’s life will be held at 3 p.m. at the church on Sunday Aug. 1. She will be laid to rest following the service at Calhoun Cemetery.
