Betty Lynn Newman Swaggerty
Betty Lynn Newman Swaggerty, 47, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 13, 2021.
She was born on April 18, 1974, to the late Doyle and Betty Louise Tishaw. Lynn was the pastor of New Life Church of God in Trenton. She loved singing, preaching, visiting the elderly and praying for others. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rev. Paul Edward Newman Jr. and Randy Wade Swaggerty; parents, Doyle and Betty Louise Tishaw; several aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Caden Scott Newman; sisters, Kelly (Mark) Phillips, Sheila Tishaw and Selena Johnson; brother in-law, Joey (Joanna) Newman; several nephews, one niece and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at Burns Cemetery in Sequatchie, Tn. The service will be led by Brother Carrol Allen.
