Regina Shepherd
Regina Shepherd, wife, mother and grandmother, lost her battle with Covid-19 on September 16, 2021, at the age of 72. She was surrounded by loved ones and will always be remembered for her kind and caring heart.
Regina always put others before herself, she cared for those around her and treated everyone she met like family. She was a true light in the dark, she always had a positive and loving attitude through everything she did. Although she suffered many losses throughout her life, you could never tell because her spirit was always bright.
Regina Shepherd was born in Dunlap, Tn., and was a longtime resident of Chattanooga. She most recently lived in Trion, Ga., with her son and grandchildren. She worked for Signal Apparel as a payroll supervisor.
Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Shepherd, father, Noyes McAbee, mother, Ivory McAbee, and sister, Rhonda Gabor.
Regina is survived by her son, Alan Shepherd, granddaughters, Lindsey Shepherd and Whitney Shepherd, grandson, Ben Shepherd, brother, Randall McAbee, and sister, Donna Clark.
Visitation will be on Monday Sept. 27, from 4-7 p.m. and on Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 11:30 a.m. in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment is to follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
