Brenda Asher
Brenda Maxine Asher, 78, of LaFayette, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
She was a member of Linwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Asher; parents, Robert and Mattie Stoker; brothers, Max and Fred Stoker; sisters, Foy Nell Vest, Ruby Chandler, Mattie Lou Glowers, Mary Lee Alexander, and Audrey Bridges; and daughter-in-law, Trecia Whitten Asher.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Haney and Kay (Jerry) Anderson, and stepdaughter, Tammy (Ed) Ingram; sons, Darrell (Kathy) Asher, Brent Asher, and Joel (Candice) Asher; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Dot Dennison; brothers, Paul Wayne (Gail) Stoker and Richard (Kaye) Stoker; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, at Linwood Baptist Church with Pastors Jon Alverson and Daniel Haney officiating.
Entombment will be at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are her grandsons.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
