The Chattanooga women’s soccer team will close out its longest home stand of the season Sunday afternoon in a Southern Conference tilt with VMI. The game is slated to kick off at 1:00 p.m. at the UTC Sports Complex.

Chattanooga opened Southern Conference action with a scoreless draw against UNCG and sits in the middle of the pack in the league after the opening day. Abbey Saddler recorded her second shutout of the season and made a career-best 11 saves in the match.
Samantha Shaw, tied for fourth in the SoCon for goals scored, has a team-best nine points with four goals. Mackenzie Smith leads UTC with a pair of assists and 22 shots this season. Four different players have scored goals for Chattanooga.
The Mocs and Keydets first met on the pitch in 2014 after VMI rejoined the Southern Conference. UTC has won each of the last two contests after going 0-5-2 in the previous seven matches.
