William “Bill” McCutcheon
William “Bill” McCutcheon, 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Bill was a graduate of City High School and received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Chattanooga in 1962. He was born in Dalton, GA and spent most of his life in the Chattanooga area. He was an accounting professional in Chattanooga for most of his career until becoming an owner of three video rental companies for 15 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William McCutcheon; mother, Delma McCutcheon; brother, Robert McCutcheon; son David McCutcheon, and daughter, Cheryl M. Robinson.
Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret McCutcheon; son, Chris (Connie) McCutcheon; and five grandchildren, Jay McCutcheon, Chase and Savanah Rearden, Josh (Katie) McCutcheon and Michael (Mary Cabell) McCutcheon; two great grandchildren; nephew, Lloyd McCutcheon.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will follow at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, at the North Chapel with Reverend Darrell Davenport officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
