Vols Knock Off #3 Kansas, 64-50

Tennessee used a scrappy defense and three-point shooting to knock off #3 Kansas, 64-50, at Nassau, Bahamas, on Saturday night.

The Vols led 33-25 at the half and increased the margin to 18 points with less than seven minutes remaining.

Tennessee held high scorers Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson to far below their averages.

Santiago Vescovi led Tennessee with 20 points and Zekai Zeigler came over the bench to score 14 points. Tyreke Key added 10.

Tennessee jumped off to a 10-2 lead after Jonas Aidoo connected on a three-pointer.

The Vols never trailed to capture the tournament title.
