The Chattanooga Autism Center is hosting a New Year’s fundraiser at the Coker Car Museum on Dec. 31 starting at 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy great music, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, wine and a champagne toast at midnight.
Tickets are $50 and include food, nonalcoholic beverages and the midnight champagne toast! Adding to the evening, mini hoagies from Lil Mama’s will be part of the hors d’oeuvres, and locally brewed beer from Hutton & Smith will be available at the bars.
Long time parent volunteer and New Year’s Party Coordinator Celeste Lipps said, "Our 2019/2022 New Year’s party was huge. People danced and had a crazy fun night, and we raised $5,000 for programs for autistic people and their families.
"The CAC had to postpone the party the last two years due to the pandemic, but now we’re ready to celebrate New Years in person."
“The new party venue is perfect. The Coker Car Museum has a huge collection of every type of car you can think of, and you’re dancing among millions of dollars worth of new and old collectables. There’s a lot more space to spread out too, and so many photo opportunities,” said Dave Buck, executive director of the Chattanooga Autism Center.
Funds raised for the local 501c3 will go towards fun events for autistic individuals and families in the area. This party is being sponsored by First Horizon, Snapdragon Hemp, Hemp House, Lil Mama’s Chicago Style Hoagies, Hutton & Smith and other local businesses.
