Coty Wamp Will Make Our Streets Safer And Communities Stronger

There's been a lot of discussion about the experience levels of the candidates for Hamilton County district attorney. As a former juror in a case that was tried by Coty Wamp here in Chattanooga, I can personally attest to her professionalism and her abilities as a courtroom attorney during that trial.

Coty was professional, poised, and knowledgeable. She made a lasting impression on me, so much so that I’m writing this letter even though I very rarely get involved in politics outside of voting. The trial at which I was a juror was a case that Coty tried as a public defender before she even began prosecuting and trying cases in the DA’s Office in Bradley County. I can only imagine the type of trial attorney she is after sharpening her skills even further as an assistant district attorney.  She has my full confidence and trust, and I’m excited for the new vision and ideas that she will bring to the Hamilton County District Attorney’s office.

Chattanooga and Hamilton County have a violent crime problem and Coty has outlined her fresh ideas on how to combat this glaring issue. There is no doubt that she will make Chattanooga’s streets safer and our communities stronger.

If you’re not sure about who to vote for, I urge you to listen to Coty's message. I’m confident that you’ll see the importance of this election and that she is clearly the best choice for Hamilton County district attorney.
