Richard "Bull" Elliott, Sr.

Richard "Bull" Elliott, Sr., age 65, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the family residence.

Richard was born in Cleveland and he was the son of the late Sarah Green Phillips and Jack Elliott. His infant sister and his brother-in-law, Marion Ruth, also preceded him in death.

Richard worked for Beaulieu Carpets with 22 years of service. He also served as a deputy with the Bradley County Sheriff's Department for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and going to the mountains. Richard attended the Soaring Eagles Ministry.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Pam Elliott of Cleveland; his daughter, Amy Wilcox (Steve), Benton; sons, Benjie Massingill (Yoshonia), Georgetown, Richard Elliott Jr. (Angela), Chatsworth, Georgia, and Jacob Elliott, Cleveland; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Ruth, Ocoee; brothers, Jackie Elliott (Jackie), Old Fort, and Charles Elliott (Mary), Benton; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Bob Bankston and Pastor Lowell Hicks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
