Martha Marie Dailey, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 30, 1948 in Ringgold, Ga., a daughter of the late Carl and Dora Patton. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Steve Patton.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Horace Dailey of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Brett Dailey of Talking Rock, GA, Brian and Jill Dailey of Cohutta, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Jennie Patton of Oregon, Carl Dale Patton of Rocky Face, GA, Chuck Patton of Baltimore, MD, Ricky Patton, David Patton of Cohutta, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma Cornette of Tunnel Hill, GA, Gail and Bobby Well Cohutta, GA, Caroline and George Chastain of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Maddison Dailey of Gainsville, GA, Emily and Greg Hobbs of Dalton, GA, Katriesha and Josh Fouts of Ringgold, GA; great grandchild, Audrey Hobbs of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martha Marie Dailey will be held Friday May 20, at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Mitchell Malony officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens with her nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday.
