Depression And Anxiety Recovery Program Available

The Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program will be offered to the community this summer.  

The event will take place at the Chattanooga First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7450 Standifer Gap Road. The free introduction to the 10-week program will be on June 13 at 6:30 p.m., presented by Derek Heldzinger, MD and ElmaMarie Heldzinger, MA, LPC-MHSP Provisional.  

Weekly sessions continue through Aug. 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  

Participants will learn how to: identify depression and anxiety, improve emotional intelligence, enhance energy and mood, and increase mental acuity/sharpness.

Nurses and counselors can earn 14 CEUs by completing the program. The full-course fee is $199; assistance is available.
