Braden Jackson
Braden Hood Jackson, 22, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was currently an Apprentice Lineman at Service Electric Company which he loved along with riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and driving Ole Red without permission. He loved his family and friends with all his heart.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Rev. Clifford and Edith Redmon, Edd Jackson, Elmer and Dorothy Swafford, Robert and Nita Hood, Maryland Ivy; uncle: Brad Lee Arlen Jackson.
He is survived by his mother: Amber Jackson; sister: Lily Batcher; father: Tracy (Krys) Jackson; siblings: Tristan (Irene) Jackson, Zac (Bryanna) Hamm, Kadie Hamm; grandparents: Jewell and Barbara Swafford, Norris and Robin Ivy, Garry Jackson, Terry and Kathy Albers; great grandmother: Violet Jackson; uncle, aunt, and cousins: Josh, Paige, Cole, and Jake Finnell; uncles: Clint Pitts, Travis Albers; nephews: Jose Jackson, Oliver Hamm; special friend: Zach Batcher; a host of additional aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Bill Pearman officiating. Interment will be in the Beta Cemetery on Friday, May 20, at 11 a.m.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., prior to the service.
