Baylor’s Culbreath Sets School Record In Pentathlon

Baylor’s Evie Culbreath was victorious in the State Pentathlon competition, breaking the previous school record set in 2008. Emily Kreek finished fourth with 3047 points.

 Dominant out of the gate, Culbreath won the 100 hurdles with yet another school record (24.12) and Tennessee’s fastest time in years. She followed up with a PR (5’6”) and win in the high jump, 2nd in the long jump (16-10.5), 2nd in the shot put (32-9.5), and 4th in the 800m (2:35.26).


Scoring 3546 points (top 5 in DII history), Culbreath broke Malena Kellerman’s 14-year-old school record by an incredible 421 points.

Baylor's Baker Young finished 16th in a field of 29 competitors.
