Nancy Jane Hood, 84, of Sale Creek, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at her home.

 

She was retired from the Tennessee State Job Services Department and was of the Church of God faith.

 

She loved reading her Bible, watching Gaither videos, cheering for the Lady Vols and spending time with her adored grandchildren.

 

Nancy was preceded in death by her son Jim Hood, parents, Lelon and Hazel Clark, sisters, Rose Howard and Katherine Thompson and brother, John Clark.

 

Survivors include her son, Jeff (Tina) Hood, daughter, Janet (Sam) Williams, grandchildren, Jared and Jamison Hood, Kirstie, Breanna and Jake (Bayli) Williams and Reagan (Tyler) Perkins, two great-grandchildren, Scout and Parker Williams and several extended family.

 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. in the Hamilton County Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. David Haynes officiating.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 30, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
