Roxie Brown
Roxie Crittenden Brown, 97, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, exactly 30 years after her husband who passed away on August 10, 1992.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1924, in McMinn County, Tn., to the late Charlie and Lassie Crittenden.
She was a member of Red Bank Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ray Edward Brown; her son, Dallas; and siblings: Hooper, Zella, John, Nick, Ruth, Candler and Jack.
Survivors include her daughter, Joan Clayton; grandchildren: Sean (Kara) Brown, Michelle (David) O’Neil, Kaycee (Justin) Eiseman and Ron (Becky) Benefield; and great-grandchildren: Maya Pastusic, Gabriel Brown and Olivia Brown.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 12, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Reverend Jim Buttram Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
