Rev. Drew McCallie To Go On Holy Land Pilgrimage

  • Saturday, February 18, 2023

Rev. Drew McCallie, the pastor of the Sir Knights of Lookout Commandery sponsored as one of Tennessee’s candidates for the Holy Land Pilgrimage, will be flying out Monday to begin his journey.  Before he leaves, a small group of Sir Knights will attend his worship service on Sunday as a gesture of support.

He will be presented with a gift of some extra spending money on behalf of the Commandery.  It will be a quick presentation at the beginning of the service.

The presentation will be at Hixson United Methodist Church, 5301 Old Hixson Pike.

Pastor McCallie will be preaching at the 11 a.m. contemporary worship service (referred to as the River Service) in the gym and not in the main sanctuary.  The access to that area is from the side entrance of the building (facing Gadd Road).  The best parking would be either in the lot beside the cemetery across Old Hixson Pike from the church or the smaller lot across Gadd Road.
