Allen Young
Allen Ray Young, 76, of LaFayette, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Irene Young; and sister, Helen Bagley.
He was a member of the LaFayette Church of God and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Martha Lee Brock Young; sons, Tony (Michelle) Young and Steve (Phyllis) Young; granddaughter, Laura (Zach) Cohen; two great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Alexander and Aletha (Martin) Frye; brother, Richard Young; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 31, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Josh Edwards officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
