Dale “Festus” Bryant, 68, of LaFayette, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Bryant; parents, Elmer Bryant Sr., and Annie Ruth Akins; sister, Rhonda Bryant; and brother, Steve Bryant.
Festus is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Jason) Pendergraft and April Bryant; sons, Tommy (Jennifer) Bryant, Johnny Bryant, and D.J. Bryant; 10 grandchildren; brother, Elmer “Jr.” Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
Interment will take place at Coulter Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tracy Green, Nick and Tyler Rackley, Matthew Sipsy, and D.J. Bryant.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
