James Jewell Dotson, Jr., 48, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in a local hospital.
He was a proud United States Army veteran, serving in the Iraq War. He was an employee with Mueller Water Products in Cleveland.
He is survived by his mother, Pat Woody (James); father, James Dotson, Sr.; sister, Connie Martinez; step-sister, Melissa Bowman; and nephew, J.J. Martinez.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Chuck Barie officiating. The interment with Military Honors will follow at the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Evensville, Tn. with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
