Terry Allen Bridgman
Terry Allen Bridgman, age 85, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Terry was born in Chattanooga, TN, on December 15, 1938, the son of the late Ellis Bridgman and Alberta Walls Bridgman. He was an alumnus of Central High School Class of 1956. Terry attended the University of Chattanooga and later banking classes at LSU. He served in the reserves of the United States Air Force. Terry retired as Executive Vice President and Director of Rossville Bank after 45 years of service in the banking industry. He loved studying the Bible and enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Mike Bridgman.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Marie Bridgman; son, Jeff Bridgman (Karen); daughter, Terri Weiss (Aaron); grandchildren, Carter, Callen, and Lucy Bridgman and Travis and Lauren Weiss; brother, Rick Bridgman (Judi); best friend, Layfield Rous (Barbara); and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Heritage Chapel. Private interment will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
Visitation will be Monday from noon until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
