Ken Dolberry
Ken Dolberry, 69, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Born on Nov. 18, 1954, Ken was known for his vibrant and outgoing personality, deeply cherished by his many friends who found inspiration in his joyful approach to life.
Ken dedicated over three decades of his career to the arts, notably at the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, and later as the house manager at the Tivoli Theatre, from where he retired in 2015.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Ken was a passionate outdoorsman. He relished camping, deep-sea fishing, attending auto races in Bristol, with his BEST buddies, and exploring the country in his RV. His love for adventure and the great outdoors was evident to all who knew him. He attended Keys Vineyard in Big Pine Key, Fl., and Cape Christian in Cape Coral, Fl.
Ken is survived by his loving mother, Betty Ann Dolberry; his wife, Cindi Dolberry; brothers, Ronnie and Keith Dolberry; and sister, Connie Lowe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Dolberry.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Mike's Hole in the Wall on Cherokee Blvd., Chattanooga, on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 2-6 p.m., where friends and family will gather to honor his memory. Ken's life was a testament to the joy of friendship, the pursuit of passions, and the importance of community, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
