Coming off a big road win Thursday night, the Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team returns home to host Alabama A&M in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon inside McKenzie Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

It's "Ugly Holiday Sweater" day in the Roundhouse as fans are encouraged to sport their festive attire amidst the holiday season. But that's not all… the first 700 through the McKenzie Arena doors will receive a free Chattanooga Mocs holiday-themed beanie cap.

Chattanooga (6-4) picked up a hard-earned 75-67 victory at Evansville on Thursday night to find themselves back in the win column. The Mocs were led by Trey Bonham's 22 points while Honor Huff and Frank Champion joined in double figures with 12 each. Huff hit the 1,000 career-point milestone during the victory.

CHATTANOOGA EARNS ROAD WIN AT EVANSVILLE: Chattanooga (6-4) held off a second-half Evansville (3-7) surge during a 75-67 victory over the Aces in the Hoosier State on Thursday night. The Mocs built its largest halftime lead of the season (12), 41-29, before the Aces used a 13-0 scoring run in the second to take a brief 52-51 lead. UTC closed things out with efficient scoring performances from Trey Bonham (22), Honor Huff (12) and Frank Champion (12).

ALABAMA A&M CURRENT SEASON OVERVIEW:
Alabama A&M (4-5) enters Sunday's matinee against the Mocs coming off an 82-44 home loss to Lipscomb, who is a recent common opponent for both programs. The Bulldogs are currently on a two-game skid following the loss to the Bisons and an 88-83 home defeat to IU-Indianapolis, which followed a 77-70 home win over Coastal Carolina.

ALABAMA A&M PLAYER FOCUS: Sophomore forward Chad Moodie leads the Bulldogs in scoring (13.4) and rebounding (4.8) this season while also leading the squad in FG% (59.5). Junior guard AC Bryant has also averaged double figures in 2024-25, playing to an 11.4 average over nine games.

HONOR HITS 1,000 POINT MILESTONE: Honor Huff hit the 1,000 career-point mark with his 12th and final point of the game at Evansville Thursday. Huff knocked down a late 3-pointer, his fourth of the contest, to help seal the 75-67 victory and notch the scoring milestone in the process.

THREE BALL FINALLY FALLS: Chattanooga's 3-point offense has struggled over the first month of action before finding its groove Thursday night at Evansville. UTC finished the game with season bests in both 3-pointers made (12) & 3-point % (46.2, 12-26). Annually one of the top 3-point teams in the country, the Mocs currently rank 145th in 3-pointers made per game (8.2) & 323rd in 3PT% (29.2) in NCAA DI.

THE FORMULA IS SIMPLE: After Thursday's win, the Mocs moved to 23-2 under head coach Dan Earl when finishing a game shooting 40.0% or better from behind the arc. The team also improved to 38-5 under Earl when finishing with a more efficient FG% than its opposition while jumping to 42-14 when scoring 70 or more points over the same time span.
