Raymond Rich
Mr. Raymond Dale Rich, age 63, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life peacefully in his sleep February 20, 2024, at his home.
Dale was born September 28, 1960, in Dalton, Georgia.
He attended Valley Point High School and was employed by NPC South, Inc., where he was a supervisor. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Dale was an honorable, true Christian, kind hearted and very humble man. Dale’s lifelong wish would be that everyone fine the joy in Jesus that he had found.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Baggett, father, Raymond LeRoy Rich, mother and step-father, Lela Blackwell Stanley and John Frank Stanley, a sister, Anita Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Baggett Rich of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Davina Baggett of Tunnel Hill, Ga; daughters and son-in-law, Keisha Smith of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and Constance and Tino Torres of Dalton, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carla and Roy Gentry of Dalton, Ga., Renee and Ben Bennett of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and Mike Bennett of Dawnville, Ga.; brother, Roger Rich of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; step-mother, Wanda Sue Rich of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Doyle Blackwell, Dalton, Ga., Doris Brown of Chatsworth, Ga., Margie Williams, Wanda Sue and David Sims, Sarah Hankins, and Bob Howell all of Dalton, Ga.; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Raymond Dale Rich will be held Friday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church, (1448 Pleasant Grove Dr., NW, Dalton, Ga., 30721) with Reverend Bryon Brackett officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, with Landen Dickson, Russell Bennett, Jeremy Baggett, Jacob Wilcox, Tino Torres and Landon Blackwell honored to serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Salem Baptist Church from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 12 p.m. Friday until the service hour.
