Ben Daugherty For School Board, District 2

  • Saturday, February 24, 2024

Many of you might know the Daugherty family; however, for those who do not, I want to make a brief introduction.

I have known Ben virtually all his life. It’s been exciting to watch him grow into a man of character, a wonderful husband to Anna, a loving, caring father to his four children, a productive worker and employee, and a committed, involved citizen of Signal Mountain and Hamilton County.  Like all of us, he is a very busy guy; however, he has made the decision to run as the Republican nominee for the Hamilton County School Board - District 2.

The children/students in Hamilton County deserve a world-class education system.  We need leaders who will not only talk about the following objectives but also know how to execute them: the pursuit of excellence, raising the bar, investing in our children, supporting our teachers, being a good steward and encouraging administrators, staff, teachers and students to dream big dreams.

Del and I believe Ben is a man who can and will do this.  He is a man of character and integrity, and he will work hard at accomplishing what he says he will do.

Del and I are supporting Ben, voting for him and wholeheartedly commend him to you.  We ask that you prayerfully consider voting for him as well.  He has no competition in the Republican Primary; however, he does have a Democrat opponent in the General Election on Aug. 1.

Early voting for Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary Election is Feb. 14-27. Election Day is March 5. Early voting for State and Federal Primary and State and County General Election is July 12-27. Election Day is Aug. 1.

Del and Tom Francescon
