Bobby McDonald, Sr.
Bobby McDonald, Sr. was born on October 4, 1950, in Meridian, Ms., to Sallie Holden. He departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2024, in a local hospital.
He was educated in the Chattanooga public school system. Bobby retired from the City of Chattanooga Public Works after 35 years of service.
Those who preceded him in death include his mother, Sallie Holden and his Aunt Boone.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Mary McDonald; sons, Brian "Wayne" McDonald, Bobby McDonald, Jr., Corey McDonald, Chris McDonald; daughters, Wendy McCane Calloway, Crystal McDonald; stepson, Anthony Stamper; brother, Oliver (Diane) Tarvin; sisters, Dorothy Lloyd, Julia (Wayne) Jones, Angela Holden, and Sharon Holden all of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens.
