St. Andrew's-Sewanee Middle School Girls Volleyball Defeats Monteagle

The St. Andrew's-Sewanee Middle School girls volleyball team defeated Monteagle 3-0 at home. The scores were 25-11, 25-3 and 25-9.
 
The Mountain Lions saw impressive performances from first time starters Brinkley O'Neal, who had the match winning serve, as well as Leonora Pate, who had 7 assists.
 
Aubrey and Savannah Blosser combined for 17 and 10 service points as well as 15 and 22 assists respectively. Adeline Pond and Leah Moody had a combined 12 service points and Lyra Spake had 14 service points as well as 4 kills.
Maggie Lou Pond had 8 assists.
 
Coach Shannon Blosser said, "We had a good showing tonight but we were missing some players as was Monteagle, so it is hard to say how it will go when we see them again in a week." 

The SAS girls play again Thursday at home vs Richard Hardy and Friday on the road in a big conference rematch at Tracy City. Tracy City won in 5 the first time. SAS is 4-3 on the season.
