Betty E. Hill, 79, gained her heavenly wings on Monday, June 10, 2024.

She was of the Christian faith and a lifetime resident of Harrison. Betty was there from the beginning of Linda’s Produce in East Ridge with Terry and Linda Ramey in 1992 until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family, fishing, and quilting. Betty spent a lot of time gardening as well. Some of her families’ best memories are of her daily “scavenger hunts”, where she would hide various things for her loved ones to find.

Waiting to welcome Betty home was her husband, Gene Hill; son, Tracy Hill; parents, Luther and Myrtle Ramey; sister and best friend, Barbara Marshall, as well as six siblings.

Those left behind to mourn her loss are her daughters, Kim Patterson, Ginger Roberson, and Stacy Allison (Tony); sister, Diane Wilson; grandchildren, Nico, Richard, Meghan, Tasha, Hannah, Matthew and Michael, as well as great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Steven, Grace, Audrey, and Zack.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 16, from 2-8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. A visitation will also be held on Monday, June 17, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel with Robert Barger officiating.

Carrying her to her final resting place will be her daughters and granddaughters, with honorary pallbearers, Chris Wilson and Caleb Wilson.

Betty will be laid to rest in Harrison Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Laura, for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
