Tyler Thomas Watts
Tyler Thomas Watts, 36, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Tyler was born on Feb. 9, 1988, in Chattanooga. He was employed by St. John's Restaurant, Meeting Place, Pickle Barrel and The Honest Pint.
Tyler was preceded in death by his mother, Debra B. Watts; and uncles, Buddy Bales and Wayne Bales.
Those Tyler leaves behind to cherish his memories are parent, Sequoia P. Watts; brothers, Anthony G. Watts and James S. Kirkley; aunt, Sharon Cummings; many cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Tyler had a passion for cooking as evidenced by his love for creating inspiring dishes with love. Anthony Bourdain was his inspiration, not only in his culinary skills, but also in life.
Tyler was a huge Metallica fan, having seen them many times.
Tyler's greatest gift was giving of himself to help others.
The family would like to thank Siskin Hospice Center for their excellent care, and to the many friends who shared heart warming stories of Tyler.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 2-5 p.m. at the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 5-10 p.m. at The Big Chill and Grill, 103 Cherokee Blvd, Chattanooga, Tn. 37405.
