William “Bill” R. Willbanks, 84, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in a local rehabilitation facility.
He was a long-time rock mason and auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Sanders Willbanks, parents, Walter and Hattie Forshee Willbanks, son, Billy Ray Willbanks and four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol (Scott) Routt, son, Ernest (Holly) Willbanks, seven grandchildren: Bruce, Dalton, Kaylie, Paige, Zoe, Spencer and Hunter and nine great-grandchildren, brother, Alfred (Darlene) Willbanks and many nieces and nephews.
