Cleveland State Community College held the reopening of the Carl Hite Math & Science Building, home of the new Greg A. Vital Center for Natural Resources and Conservation, last Friday.
With a donation from Tennessee state representative Greg A. Vital, the new state-of-the-art Vital Center will house the Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries (FWF) and agriculture programs. The center includes a collaborative space for students and a “dirty lab.” The two-year building renovation project included information technology upgrades and new lighting as well as faculty office updates, a remodeled entrance and more.
