Louise Grant Skiles, 95, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee and a lifelong resident of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on September 6, 2024.

She was a member of the Mowbray Church of God. Her family remembers how much she loved each one of them and the joy she had every Sunday afternoon preparing large meals for a time to gather together for lunch.

Her husband, Glenn Skiles; parents, Walter and Grace Grant; brothers, Ross Grant and Lloyd Grant and sisters, Naomi Patterson and Ruth Gann preceded her in death.

Louise is survived by her son, Rick Skiles; daughters, Sandra Pollard, Carolyn (Ben) Parker; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Her family wants to offer a special thanks to all her caregivers, Cindy Woodall, Cheryl Jackson, Angie Ricketts as well as those at Kim’s Caregivers.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Grant Chauncey officiating. Burial will follow in Millsaps Cemetery.
