The leaderboard at Monday's Hurricane Invitational bore a great resemblance to last week's City Prep tournament, with host East Hamilton once again taking the boys' trophy.

While it was a four-shot win over McCallie last week at the Bear Trace Course at Harrison Bay, today's victory was by five strokes over the same Blue Tornado squad.

Once again Hurricanes Griffin Law and Tucker Wick sat atop the board earning the top two low medalist honors, shooting 3-under par 69 and 2-under 70, respectively.

East Hamilton's winning 6-over 294 was rounded out by Leo Vasquez, who tied with Walker Valley sophomore Harrison Yost for ninth place with a 3-over 75, plus Isaac Koh carding an 80.

While it was Baylor who ran away with the girls' City crown last week, this time around Boyd Buchanan moved into the top slot, bettering Ooltewah by nine shots.

Lady Buc Alli Troxell led the ladies with a 3-under 69, matching Wick for the best round of the day, while teammate Gibbie Kay Cain tied for second place with Lady Owl "Duck" Troxell, both firing 2-over 74s.

McCallie's second-place tally was led Vidur Rajagopalan shooting even par to tie for third place overall with Walker Valley senior Alex Robinson and Brayden Helle, of Signal Mountain.

The Tornado got consistent scoring from Jack Martin (2-over 74), James Gayle (4-over 76) and Nate Coffman (5-over 77) for an 11-over 299 team total.

Baylor once again came in third, this time with a 21-over 309, behind Brett Hogue's 1-over 73 leading the way.

Hale Hamilton tied with Gayle for 11th place overall with a 76, while William Thomason (77) and Eli Haddock (83) capped the Red Raider score.

In a reverse of last week's final, Walker Valley edged Signal Mountain by a stroke (311-312) for fourth place in the 12-team field.

Along with Robinson and Yost, the Mustang tally included an 81 by Eli Bain and an 83 from Cooper Lemons.

Tucker Cruise tied Martin for seventh place with a 2-over 74 to pace the Eagles.

In the girls' action, Delaney Ratchford tied Bradley Central's Coby Ann Turner for fourth place overall with 6-over 78s, giving the Lady Owls the runner-up trophy with an 8-over 152.

Moving up from fourth last week to third, the Bearettes also got a Top 6 finish from Addie Geren, who tied with Cleveland's Emma Claire Smith and Elizabeth Crodle, from East Ham, with 84s.

The host Lady Hurricanes finished fourth in the 11-team field, while Chattanooga Christian edged Cleveland and Baylor for fifth place by a single shot.
