Julius Wade
Julius Lee Wade, 84, passed away on January 1, 2025.
He was born to Henry Wade and Florine Dillard on April 4, 1940 in Chattanooga, Tn. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. He received an honorable discharge.
Julius was a remarkable husband and father who dearly loved the Lord and his family. He instilled Christian values like love, compassion, forgiveness, honesty and service to others. He had a passion for singing, enjoyed reading, and always offered thoughtful advice to others. There was never a dull moment with him.
As a provider, he worked hard to ensure his family’s well-being. His laughter filled the home and made every moment special. Family outings will be cherished and never forgotten.
Julius will be missed, and his memory will live on in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peaches Wade, father, Henry Wade and mother, Florine Dillard.
He leaves to cherish his memories, son, Marco Wade of Dallas, Texas and daughter, Michelle Brown of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, John Carol King; sisters, Denise Dillard Payton, Pamela Dillard Cooper, Shirley Dillard Heard and Flora Dillard; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A 3 p.m. memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
