Bradley Central's matmen opened the new year with a 70-point blowout of Rhea County, Friday evening in Jim Smiddy Arena.

Ranked fifth in the latest state Class AA polls, the Bears "stuck" nine Eagles in a dozen contested matches and dropped just one match on their way to a 74-4 thrashing of the boys from Evensville.

At 126, Bradley's Josh Wolfe got the quickest pin of the night, needing just 36 ticks to put his opponent's shoulders to the mat.

Making it back-to-back "sticks," Bear teammate Landon Goins ended the 132-pound match at the 3:13 mark.

Second-ranked Ace Robinson earned the lone Rhea County points of the evening with a 10-2 major decision in the 138-pound battle.

Bandon Harris answered witha 15-1 major decision at 144 before Bradley picked up another "walkover" at 150.
