Kelly “Kellybear” Andrew Watkins, 45, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 in a local health care facility.
He was born on May 13, 1971, to Robin and Kathy Watkins. He graduated in the 1990 class of L.F.O. high school. After graduation he worked as an electrician and was working for Catoosa County Schools at the time of his passing. He was of the Baptist faith. Kelly enjoyed show cars, loved his nephews, and going four-wheeling in his jeep. He was considered the family “Pyro Technician” on the 4th of July, was a fun person to be around, and was an avid Alabama fan. He also loved his dog, Eva. Kelly was loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robin A. Watkins.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy (Gary) Rains; brother, Eli Watkins; special cousin, “Sis” April Castleberry, stepbrother, Lee Rains; fiancé, Kari Denise, and her daughters, Breanna and “Princess” Brileigh, nephews, Jonas and Jeb Watkins; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Celebration of Kelly’s life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 4-8 p.m.and Thursday, from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
