Graphic Solutions, Inc. has announced the adoption of its new name, Flywheel Brands, Inc.

The rebrand for the family-owned and -operated print management company in Hixson commemorates the organization’s 35th anniversary as well as a time of historic growth.

Founder, President and CEO Jay Simpson said, “An overwhelming client response recently initiated the expansion of our services. We began to feel the energy build within our organization, which prompted the idea for the name, Flywheel Brands. Just like a flywheel mechanism, our purpose is to provide momentum, where in this case it’s for the brands and missions our clients represent.”

Inspired by his father’s work in advertising, Mr. Simpson wanted to explore the industry’s possibilities, and in 1981, he officially launched the company out of his own garage.

What started as a decal production enterprise is now a print management company that serves businesses, such as Google and Panasonic, across the nation in addition to many of its neighbors in Greater Chattanooga.

“I truly believe that having our values as the guiding force behind our organization has significantly contributed to our success,” Mr. Simpson said. “A company can never truly succeed without honesty and a commitment to excellence.”

Today, Flywheel has specialized brand divisions - Flywheel Print, Flywheel Promotions, Flywheel Graphics and Flywheel Signs - to provide customized marketing program support for its clients and present the wide array of offerings that are available, from apparel and bumper stickers to brochures and banners.

To further mark its 35 years of service, Flywheel is making a financial contribution to Teen Challenge of the Mid-South, a Chattanooga-based chapter of a national organization, in order to further the programs that support young adults experiencing drug or alcohol addictions.

“As a new member of the board of directors, I’ve been inspired by Teen Challenge’s positive influence on the youth in Greater Chattanooga,” Mr. Simpson said. “It’s an honor to sponsor such a reputable and worthy organization.”

Flywheel is also currently expanding its building to become an all-inclusive, 18,000-square-foot facility, which will accommodate its manufacturing and fulfillment services. The project is expected to be completed this fall.

“Our organization may be evolving, but the core of our business practices is unchanging,” Mr. Simpson said. “In addition to supplying professional products and fast service, our team’s creative and client success services will always be a priority. We value the trust our clients have with us, and we look forward to cultivating those ongoing partnerships with innovative print solutions from Flywheel Brands, Inc.”
