Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, A Grr-ific Exhibit, Opens May 26 At Creative Discovery Museum

  • Thursday, May 24, 2018

Creative Discovery Museum will present Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit from May 26 through Sept. 9.

"Sing, explore and pretend with friends and family in some favorite places from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Created by the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh in partnership with The Fred Rogers Company, this exhibit is based on the award-winning PBS KIDS television series that follows the adventures of 4-year-old Daniel Tiger and his friends. The partnership connects the familiar TV world, where young viewers learn and find comfort with Daniel, to the three-dimensional, multi-sensory experience the exhibit provides," officials said.

The Museum will celebrate the arrival of its summer exhibit with an opening day event on Saturday, May 26 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.  Scheduled activities include:

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: The Daniel Tiger character will three public appearances during this time
11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Face paint
1:30 p.m.: “Dancing with our Neighbors” Dance Party
2-3 p.m.: Cooking with Crabtree Farms in Culinary Corner

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, A Grr-ific Exhibit is locally sponsored by First Tennessee Foundation, Novatech and Wolkswagen Group of America, Chattanooga.
