Hixson Woman, 26, Seriously Injured As Car Plunges Almost 100 Feet

A Hixson woman was seriously injured on Sunday when the car she and another woman were occupying fell almost 100 feet off an interstate overpass in Ohio.

Jillian Stone, 26, was in the front passenger seat.

Kayla Ellison, 26, of Franklin, Tn., was driving and was also seriously hurt.

Authorities said the wreck happened at 1:50 p.m. on I 71 at Turtlecreek a 2009 Toyota Corolla went out of control. The car hit a guardrail and median, then went airborne.

Rescuers used a rope system to bring the victims up.
