Mahan, Timothy "Tim" Rex (Trenton)

Timothy “Tim” Rex Mahan, 56, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2019 in a local hospice facility.

Tim was raised in the Cole City area and was a butcher at Food Lion in Trenton for a number of years. He attended Davis School and New Home Baptist Church, and was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. Tim would give the shirt off his back to make sure others would not do without. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Junior Mahan, Sr. and Alice Ruth Morgan Mahan; brothers, Billy Junior Mahan, Jr., Dwight George “Ike” Conkle, Sr. and William “Larry” Conkle, Sr.

Survivors include his brothers, Perry Richard Conkle, Sr. (Marilyn), of Trenton, Robert Lee Conkle, of Trenton, Michael Anthony Mahan, Sr., of Trenton and Duane Mahan, Sr., of Cincinnati, Oh.; sister, Helen (Dennis) Straughn, of Trenton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Robert Goff officiating. Interment will follow in Conkle Cemetery.
