Donna Igou
Donna Igou, 71, of Chattanooga passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Donna retired as time-keeper from the US Postal Service after 30 years of service and was a member of the Postal Workers Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sarah Griffith; stepmother, Margaret Bell Griffith; and brother, Bill Griffith, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Igou (Randy) McRoy, Chattanooga; two grandsons, Ryan James (Chloe) Davis, Ooltewah and Matthew Raymond Davis, Chattanooga; sister, Vicki Powell and brother, Fowler (Pat) Tucker, both of Chattanooga; her lifelong friend, Pamela Shelley, Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews; a host of friends, and her loving puppy, Romeo.
A Celebration of Life for Donna will be held on Friday, May 17, at 4 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Carl Blackburn and Reverend Dallas Beck officiating. Kenny Isbill will deliver a prayer.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy McRoy, Sandy Roebuck, Sue Lynn Fults, Clarence Dobbs, Ryan Davis, Matthew Davis, Josh McGee and Blake Steele.
