Alma “Jerrie” Johnson, 88, of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019.
Jerrie was born in Coffee County, Tn., but lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life. She enjoyed dancing, playing pool, gardening, and bowling with her Holiday Bowl League. She was a fun-loving free spirit who is loved and will be missed by all.
Jerrie was preceded in death by her parents, Ennis and Nora Brown; brother, Herbert Brown; sisters, Dean Madison and Betty Thomas; and father of her surviving children, Patrick M. Henley, Sr.
Survivors include her children: Patrick M. Henley, Jr., Sandra J. Spangler, and Sheila J. Henley; brother, Doyle Brown; grandchildren: Joannie L. (Billy) Harvey, Wendy Spangler, Patrick Hammond, and Miranda Hammond; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks for Amedisys Hospice and special friend, Deb Hubbard, for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
